I've really gone back to more homemade recipes since living abroad and I plan to continue when I move back to the States to save money. Things like dried beans, chicken with bones and basic rice and grains. Every penny counts. My favorite frugal tip is buying the Organic Tomato Soup that is in a box at either Trader Joe's or Whole Foods.
